Earl E. Kirby, 69, of Inwood, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009.

Born Jan. 17, 1940, in Sarton, he was the son of the late Dewey William and Hallie Marie Broyles Kirby.

He was the owner of Kirby's Auto Body Service.

Mr. Kirby was a member of First Baptist Church of Inwood.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, one son, two daughters, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, John W. Kirby, Richard Kirby, and Byrl T. Kirby Sr.; and two sisters, Stella M. Kitts and Talma J. Gladden.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at the First Baptist Church in Inwood with the Rev. Devin Ward and the Rev. Tim Butler officiating.

Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec, 22, 2009, at the First Baptist Church of Inwood and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, prior to services at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Inwood Building Fund, P.O. Box 74, Inwood, WV 25428.
