Miss Emma M. Ambrose, 94 , formerly of 124 Hamilton Ave., died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday
at the Cross Keys Brethren Home, New Oxford. She had been in failing health for the past 25 years and was a guest at the home since November 1952. Miss Ambrose was born near
Thurmont, July 24, 1873, a daughter of the late George and Matilda Marker Ambrose .
Her early life was lived in
Frederick County, Maryland. She lived at Midvale for 25 years and moved to Waynesboro in 1925 . Prior t o entering the Brethren home, she had lived with her niece, Mrs. Grace Boyer, on Hamilton Avenue. She had been a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church. She was the last of her immediate family of 12 brothers and sisters, and is survived by a numbr of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Grove Funeral Home, in charge of the
Rev. Anthony Marinacci. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery .
Friends may call at the funeral parlor prior to the service Tuesday.
