She married William Rufus Goodnight on March 2, 1902, in her hometown. They had eight children. She died on May 19, 1959, in Chandler, Oklahoma, at the age of 75, and was buried there.

Services for Mrs. Anna Goodnight are slated Friday at 2 p.m. in Curry Funeral Chapel with burial in the Oak Park cemetery.
She died Tuesday morning, May 19, 1959 at the home of her daughter.
Anna Goodnight was born March 19, 1884 in Marshfield, Mo. She was united in marriage to William Goodnight on March 2, 1902, in Marshfield Mo. To this union eight children were born.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. John Zirkel of Winfield, Kansas; Mrs. Hugh Graham of Lake Charles, La. and Mrs. Clover Keener of Chandler; five sons, Charles and Claud of Winfield, Kansas, Ed of Howard, Kansas, George of Chandler and Arth of Davenport; three sisters, Mrs. Etta Manning of Chandler, Mrs. Drue Boteman of Phoenix, Ariz. and Mrs. Lucille Bauen of Hutchinson, Kansas; four brothers, John conner of Kansas City, Mo., Will Conner of Talequah and Charley of Broken Arrow and George Conner of Forson, Texas; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grand-children.
