Lela Mae was the daughter of Clarence Burden and Ora Ethel Smith Burden. She was born in Elvins, St Francois County, Missouri. She married Frederick C Lewman 10 Jun 1949. They were parents of Gwendolyn, Charles, and Carolyn. She died in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lela was a retired Registered Nurse, having trained at Baptist Hospital, Muskogee, OK, graduating in 1948 and retiring in 1986.
