EAST GREENBUSH -- Joseph G. Bud Adams, 67, of Stirrup Drive, died Sunday, at his residence, after a brief illness. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late John and Anna Jeffs Adams. Husband of Dorothy Adams. He had resided in Brunswick for 26 years and in East Greenbusdh for the past 10 years and was edcuated at Watervliet High School and Siena College. Mr. Adams was employed at Kemper Insurance, retiring several years ago. He was a member of the Country Club of Troy, having served as an elected member of its Board of Governors, a member of the Wellman Club of Johnsonville, South Carolina and a member of the National Ski Patrol, having passed the Senior and National Patroler exams. He was an avid golfer and a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict. Survivors in addition to his wife, include two sons, David J. Adams of Wynantskill and Dr. Jeffrey L. Adams of Brunswick; a daughter, Darcy Adams Jones of Eagle Mills; two sisters, Delores Hollis of Troy and Patricia Campbell of Schaghticoke; a brother, William Adams of Clifton Park; also survived by four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 am. in the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 276 Pawling Avenue, Troy with Rev. Lawrence M. Estey, Rector of St. John's Episcopal Church, officiating. Relatives and friends may call in the funeral home Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm. Intermemt Memory's Garden, Colonie.
