Margaret was born in Marathon County on March 19, 1908, daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Thull) Knoeck.
On June 22, 1927, she married Louis Madson at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Marathon City, Wisconsin.
Margaret is survived by one son, Ervin Madson, St. Nazianz; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Arlene Schleh, St. Nazianz, Marjorie and Charles Jahncke, Milwaukee, and LouAnn and Gilbert Neumeyer, Sheboygan; ten grandchildren, Barbara (Michael) Carpenter, Hager City, WI, David Schleh, Lindsay, CA, John (Sharon) Schleh, Chico, CA, Robert (Christi) Jahncke, San Jose, CA, Mary Kay (Tony) Hart, Milwaukee, Judy (Charlie) Geiser, Valders, Marlene (Mike) Zutz, Valders, Amy (Steve) Recore, Valders, Scott (Renee) Madson, St. Nazianz, and Jane (John) Stange, Sheboygan; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers; two sisters; one grandson, Dean Joas; two sons-in-law, Roman and Gerald Schleh, and one daughter-in-law, Bernadette Madson.
Funeral Services will be held December 29, 2009 at St. Gregory Catholic Church. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Michael Bigley. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery .
