Accidently Drowned
Bsp. Lewis of Georgetown while in Paris attending
Conference, informed us that his counselor Alma
Hayes had the misfortune recently to lose a child by drowning.
The little girl about two years old had left her companions, and wandered off about one hundred yards from home, gathering services berries. While so engaged
she slipped into the creek, and although she was not
out of sight more than ten minutes, life was extinct when she was found.
Great sympathy was extended by the community for the bereaved family.
