Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Murrell of 872 Santee St., Centerville, will be held at 3 p.m. today at Stuhr's Chapel with the Rev. Charles Still officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery.
Mrs. Murrell was the widow of Johnny Murrell. She died Friday in a local hospital.
Pallbearers will be T. E. Garwood, B. K. Rochester, B. T. Austin, C. T. Lee, R. A. Thames and G. A. Thames.
Mrs. Murrell as born in McClellanville, May 16, 1887.
She was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John D. Lee of Olanta, and Mrs. Herman Stramm of East Point, Ga.; five sons, Bernard J. Murrell of Charleston, Kirk T. Murrell and Junious Murrell, both of Pawley's Island, Sammie Murrell of Beech Island, and R. P. Murrell of John's Island; a brother, A. L. Brinson of Charleston; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
