Jake was a farmer and following the barn fire in the late forties,he had a smaller barn built and continued farming and selling dairy products until illness forced him to retire.
He was united in holy wedlock with Miss Mary Spindler of Stratford on 1st May, 1913.
Siblings:Adam Jung of Burlington,WI, Anna Strade and Johanna Conrad of Fond du Lac and Mrs.Herman Froehlich of Glenbeulah.
Rev.E.L.Worthman of St.Peter Evangelical and Reformed Church was the Pastor for the funeral.
