TUSCUMBIA -- The funeral for Isaac Aldridge, 76, 507 N. Milton St., will be at 2 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home chapel, Tuscumbia, with the Rev. Delmer Hyman officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery.
He died Wednesday, March 3, 1993, at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield.
He was a native of Randolph County, retired from Reynolds Metals, member of Aluminum Workers Local 200, and Providence Baptist Church.
Survivors include wife, Velma Aldridge, Tuscumbia; sons, W.C. Aldridge, Donald Ford Aldridge, both of Dallas, Texas, Isaac Aldridge, Austin, Texas, Jerry Carl Aldridge, Eaton, Okla.; daughters, Jewell Zills, Lafayette, Ind., Sally Jackson, Barbara Ann Vaughn, both of Dallas, Eloise Smith, Jackson, Miss.; stepsons, Leldon Carpenter, Paul Carpenter, Ray Carpenter, all of Sheffield; stepdaughters, Hazel Woods, Muscle Shoals, Jeane Jones, Tuscumbia, Lucille Carpenter, Florence; brother, Jim Aldridge, Athens; sister, Essie Scott, Ohio; 22 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be Joey Murphy, Mike Agee, Mark Holden, David Murphy, Brad Carter, Jason Jones and Shane Carpenter.
