Elisha Ben Holstine, age 67, passed away at the Polly Ryon Hospital in Richmond, Monday morning. He was born in Missouri on February 1, 1884.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Wilson Holstine of Rosenberg; five sons, Annie Rayburn Holstine of Austin, Charles Ambrous Holstine of Rosenberg, John Bailey Holstine of Rosenberg, Ran Albert Holstine of Rosenberg and Morris Lealon Holstine of Inglewood, California; five daughters, Mrs. Artie Bell Durant of Austin, Mrs. Jennie Spinn of Temple, Mrs. Pheba Katherine Lange of Bartlett, Mrs. Lila Lee Kuntz of Bartlett and Mrs. Bennie Jean Byrum of Rosenberg, and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Holstine were held from the First Baptist church in Rosenberg, Tuesday 3:00 o'clock with Rev. W.E. Lowe and Rev. Cox officiating. Burial was in the W.O.W. Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alfred Jodrski, M.L. Heath, Chas. Webster, Edwin Marek, Herbert Enax ad Ben Goss.
Funeral services were under the direction of the Foerster Funeral Home.
