AnnMarie Gabbianelli AnnMarie Gabbianelli, 54, of Ridgefield, wife of Edward J. Gabbianelli, died at her residence early Wednesday morning, December 30, 2009, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Gabbianelli was born in Norwalk, CT, February 24, 1955, a daughter of Louis P. and Marilyn (Mazzone) Rogers of Ormond Beach, FL. AnnMarie attended Norwalk schools and upon later Ridgefield schools. She graduated from Ridgefield High School in the Class of 1973. Mrs. Gabbianelli was an office administrator with the Town of Ridgefield Building Department. A resident of Ridgefield from her early teens, she enjoyed attending car shows, knitting, needlepoint and reading. She was a founding member of the Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and a member of St. Mary's Church. In addition to her husband of thirty-five years and parents, she is survived by a son, Michael Gabbianelli of Ridgefield; a sister, Cathy Forman of Port Orange, FL; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Ridgefield. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Contributions to Regional Hospice, Home Care Program, 405 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06810 or to the Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Dept., 6 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield, CT 06877 would be appreciated.
