He was employed at the Trumbull Electric Mfg. Co., for 25 years before his retirement 5 years ago. In his younger years, Mr. Cottrell was a member of C.I. First Regiment, C.N.G. of New Britain.
He is survived by a son Mortimer L., and a daughter Eleanor, both of this town, and a granddaughter, Eleanor May.
Funeral services wll be held tomorrow at 2 P.M. at the Church of Our Saviour, Rev. Lincoln E. Frye, rector, will officiate. Burial will be in West cemetery. Friends may call at the Bailey Funeral Home tonight and tomorrow until noon.
