Private funeral services for Winona Jane Tichenor, 73, of Sellersburg, will be held with interment at Crown Hill Cemetery, Salem.
She died Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.
She was a native of Salem, and the daughter of the late Omer and Carrie Weller Lloyd.
She had been employed by Sears and Roebuck for 17 years and formerly employed by Water Com. Communications.
She was a member of the Sellersburg First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; great-granddaughter, Maidson; and great-grandson, Kayden.
Visitation will be at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association.
