OBITUARY:
ELDER - ALBERT L., age 68, of Daisy, Tenn., died in a Chattanooga hospital Saturday night. He was a member of the Daisy First Baptist Church and the son of the late Weber C. and Malissa Brumtritt Elder, pioneer settlers of north Hamilton County.

Mr. Elder was employed by the Southern Railroad for 14 years and he and his wife operated the North Daisy Super Market for 40 years. He retired in 1964. Mr. Elder was an ardent hunter and fisherman.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ona Elder of Daisy; one daughter, Mrs. Tom Maynor of Red Bank; two sons, Arron Holland of Red Bank, Ralph C. Holland of Albuquerque, NM.; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Schmid, Falling Water, and Mrs. Tena Lovelady of Daisy; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday from the chapel of the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Ed Briggs. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Garden Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Clarence Hale, Chaney Eustice, Lesal Beene, Troy Bell, Harold Rigsby and Howard Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be the fellowship class of the Daisy First Baptist Church.

The body will remain at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Williamson and Son Funeral Home, Highway 27, Soddy Daisy, Tenn.
