Madeline Heisner Anderson, age 97, of West Frankfort, IL and Lynn Haven, FL passed away peacefully December 26, 2009 at the home of her son in Jacksonville, FL. Born October 7, 1912 in Grand Chain, Pulaski County, IL near the banks of the Ohio River, she was preceded in death by her father, Henry Konrad Heisner, her mother, Iva Mae Hayes, her husband of 55 years, Henry Edward Anderson, daughter-in-law, Madoline Murphy Anderson, three brothers, Herbert Harley Heisner, James Marvin Heisner and Ronald Eugene Heisner and a sister, Alice Heisner Anderson. She is survived by two sisters, Gertrude Heisner Wyant and Juanita Heisner Harp, her daughter, Frances Anderson Irion, her son, Charles Thomas Anderson, son-in-law, John Witt Irion, four grandchildren, Prisca Irion, Gretta Irion Whitmore, Mark Edward Anderson and Lynn Anderson Masciocchi, six great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Granny was a woman of great faith and integrity who lived by the Golden Rule and asked only to be able to help others. She cherished her family all of whom could do no wrong. She grew up when hard work was a necessity and was well known for her sense of responsibility and industry. She had a long church association with the Lynn Haven Assembly of God. Visitation with the family will be at 1 pm Saturday, January 2, 2010 followed by the funeral service at 2 pm at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
