She married James Moffett in about 1896 (1900 census). They had 3 known Moffett children together: George V., Burley S. and Amanda B. (all BELOW). I suspect son George and daughter Amanda were named for her siblings.
She first appears on in 1850 Rome Twp., Athens Co., Ohio census with her parents and siblings: EVA ANN Walters is age 2. Both of her sisters, Amanda and Annie's death records transcribed on Ancestry lists her mother, Elizabeth St. Myer per WH.
On the 1870 Ashmore, Coles Co., Illinois Census, I found farmer James Moffett, 61, Virginia born; ANN Moffett, 40, Virginia; George 4, Illinois and Burly, 2, Illinois born.
On the 1880 Ashmore, Coles Co., Illinois Census, I found now widowed, head of house EVE A. Moffett, 40 (hard to read age), Virginia, George W. Moffett, 13, Illinois; Burley S. Moffett, 11, Illinois and Amanda B. Moffett, 9, Illinois.
On the 1900 Ste. Marie, Jasper Co., Illinois census, I found Burley Moffet, 33, born Mar 1867 in Illinois; married 4 years to Eleina.
She was last on the 1910 Hutton, Coles, Illinois census as mother in law Eve Moffett, 82, born in Virginia, residing with daughter Manda Lang, 37, son in law and farmer Albert Lang, 37 and their Lang children: Burley, 13; Carl, 7; Fern, 6 and Ralph, 4, the rest all born in Illinois.
"AUNT" EVA MOFFETT ANSWERED CALL OF DEATH, Mrs. Eva Moffett, aged 85 years, lovingly called "Aunt" by all who knew her, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Lang, seven miles north-east of Charleston, at 6 o'clock Sunday evening. Her death is attributed to the general infirmatives which follow old age. The funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be made in the Moffett cemetery. Mrs. Moffett, who had made this county her home for years, was known to a majority of the citizens of Charleston and Ashmore townships. She was the ideal wife, mother and neighbor and her death is deplored by all. She is survived by two sons. George Moffet, of Ashmore and Burley Moffett, of Missouri, and a daughter, Mrs. Albert Lang." Per the Charleston Daily Courier (Illinois) dated 6 Mar 1911.
