Mr. Jeffrey B. "Jeff" Day, age 64, of Lynn, died early Wednesday morning in the Kaplan Family Hospice House of small cell lung cancer. He was the cherished husband of Patricia (Stanchfield) Day.
Born in Lynn, Jeff was the son of the late George and Ruth (Erickson) Day. He attended Lynn Schools and was a lifelong resident of Lynn. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam War.
Jeff was an accomplished electrician, well respected in his field, highly regarded by all, and owned his own business, Jeffrey B. Day Electric. He was a member of the Lynn Auxiliary Police and the Peabody Lodge of Elks. He was also part owner of "Hawks Place" in Lynn.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his daughters, Jennifer Morgan and her husband Dr. Stephen Morgan, Nancy Sullivan and her husband Derek; his stepson, James Robichaud and his partner Bridget; his stepdaughters, Christine Aery and her husband Michael, Cheryl Davis and her husband Johnathan. He was the brother of Charles Day and his wife Rose, Al Day, Bert Day, Eric Day and his partner Jon, Jean Day, Joan Day, Janet Ventullo, and Nancy Davis and her husband Charles. He was the Grandfather of Andrew and Matthew Davis, Sean and Evan Morgan, and Mia and Wesley Sullivan. He was the loving son-in-law of Louise Stanchfield and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
