Donald was working on an Oil Rig drilling nearby in South Georgia at the time. After Sarah Graduated from College with a teaching degree, they settled in Homerville Ga her hometown. They had 2 children George Arthur Bessonette [born 1954 ] and Sarah Sally Bessonette [born 1955] They lived in Homerville Ga and Donald traveled in the Southeast as an industrial and commercial bricklayer. They divorced May 7, 1971. Donald moved back to his hometown in Mississippi.
