(died 10/11/1946)  Fred Crane was killed at a railroad crossing near Marvin.  Mrs Crane died suddenly Oct 18, 1945.  The funeral was held at the Big Rock Church with burial in the Big Rock cemetery.  He married Miss Pearl Ferguson.  They had 1 son Al Crane, and a daughter, Mrs. Norman Thompson. a Grandson, Gene Crane, had lived with his grandfather and will now live with his aunt.  He is survived by 2 sisters: Mrs. W.L. Watson of Miami Oklahoma and Rona McDow of Barnett; 3 brothers: Cap Crane of Barnett, Curtis Crane of Rock Island, Ill and Ed Crane of St. Louis.
