Pauline Tennant, 87, of Miracle Run Community, Fairview, died Friday (Feb. 22, 2013) in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.

She was born Feb. 19, 1926, at Mannington, a daughter of the late Cecil Kinty and Nellie C. King.

Mrs. Tennant was a homemaker and a member of the Miracle Run United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, William "Bill" and Arietta Mae Tennant of Blacksville; two half-brothers, Claude Kinty and Jerry Kinty, both of Fairmont; five grandchildren and their spouses, Tammy and Vernon Varner, Kimberly and Scott Sullivan, Tiffany and James Durst, Todd and Pam Foley, and Beth and Eric Jones; seven great-grandchildren, Travis Watson, Colby Watson, Danielle Varner, Brody Varner, Hailee Foley, Lexie Foley and Ross Jones; and one great-great-grandchild, Diara Watson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilda Tennant; one daughter, Martha Jane Church; two half-brothers, Joseph Kinty and Keith Kinty; one half-sister, Wilma Jean Hoffmaster; and one great-great-grandson, Gage Watson.

The family would like to say "thank you" to the staff of Monongalia General Hospital, the staff of the Sundale Nursing Home, and to the staff of Morgantown Hospice for the care and compassion show to Pauline and her family.

Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason Dixon Highway, Blacksville, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Steve Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Core Cemetery at Bula.
