George Upson, 41 years old, a well known ranchman of San Antonio, died at 9:20 o'clock Tuesday morning at his home, 1014 Avenue B, as the result of a stroke of apoplexy. He was a native of San Antonio and for many years had been engaged in the ranching business with his brother, James Upson. They owned much land around the city. He is survived by his brother and a sister, Mrs. Lee Upson, also of San Antonio, who is visiting in Atlanta, Ga. Funeral arrangements await the arrival of his sister. The body is in charge of the Sloan & Hagy Undertaking Company.
