Christian P. Christensen, 66, of 1514 Philippen St., Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. in St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. James J. Stamborki will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Christensen was born Dec. 5, 1910, in Randers, Denmark, son of the late Carl Christensen and Emma Olson Christensen. He immigrated to the United States as a child and settled in Wittenberg. He was graduated from Wittenberg High School in 1928. Mr. Christensen married Salome Napierzinski Dec. 28, 1935, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. They resided in Manitowoc since their retirement in 1976. Mr. Christensen was employed as chief engineer at Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, Manitowoc. He was a member of the National Society of Engineers.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Peter of Manitowoc; four daughters, Mrs. Herb (Karen) Oechler of Wauwatosa, Mr. James (Lynn) Anderson of Denver, Colo., Miss Annette Christensen of Green Bay and Mrs. William (Laurie) Stanzel of Manitowoc; his mother, Mrs. Emma Christensen of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Betty Seymour of Green Bay, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday where a prayer service will be conducted at 7 p.m.
