Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Gagnon, 65, who died Thursday at the Municipal hospital, Two Rivers were held this morning at St. Luke church, Two Rivers. Burial was in Holy Cross cemetery.
Mrs. Gagnon, nee Julia Monka, had been residing with a son, Herman, of 1025 25th street, Two Rivers. She was born in 1883 in the town of Two Rivers and in 1904 was married to Urban Gagnon, commercial fisherman at Two Rivers. Her husband died 18 years ago.
Surviving are two sons, Martin and Herman of Two Rivers; three brothers, Frank of Two Rivers, Joseph of this city, and Alex of Eckerman, Mich.; and seven grandchildren.
