Ethel was the second of four children born to Adeline H. (Kearn) and William Belling. On September 24, 1920 she married Isadore Rousse near Iron Mountain, MI. Together they had seven children: Merlin H., Arnold W., Arvilla Adeline, Jeniece I., Inez U., Gloria and Marlene.
ETHEL ROUSSE
Mrs. Isadore Rousse, 57, of 1018 Buchholz St., Two Rivers, died late
Friday night at the Holy Family Hospital at Manitowoc. She had been
in ill health for more than a year.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Klein & Stangel,
Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, the Rev. J.J. Roehrdanz officiating.
Burial will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Rousse, nee Ethel Belling, was born Nov. 9, 1901, at Appleton,
a daughter of the late William and Adeline Kearn Belling. When she
was a child the family brought her to Niagra, Wis. She was married
at nearby Iron Mountain, Mich., Sept. 29, 1920, to Isadore Rousse.
Thirty-three years later the family moved from Niagra to Two Rivers
where she resided since.
Besides her husband she leaves four daughters, Mrs. Joseph Riha and
Mrs. Arthur Ott of Two Rivers, Mrs. Kenneth Kososki of Niagara and
Mrs. Paul Frederick of Fort Bragg, N.C.; two sons, Merlin of Beve??,
W. V. and Arnold of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. Matt Gennrich of
Niagara; a brother, Hilbert Belling of Marinette and 17 grandchildren.
