Ada Hobbs of rural Ligonier, died Aug. 7, 2008 at Brookside Nursing Home in Kenosha, Wis. She was a member of Ligonier United Methodist Church. She was born May 30, 1917 in Yale, Ky. to Sherman and Lara Reed Kring. She married Raymond Hobbs on Dec. 9, 1936 in Ligonier. He preceded her in death. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Retia and Art Strong of Kenosha, Wis.; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry. Services at Sparta Cemetery
