A service to honor her life and mourn her passing is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Parkdale Baptist Church, 6310 Dee Highway; burial will follow at the Upper Valley Cemetery of Parkdale.
Charlotte grew up in Hazel Green, Ore., and attended school in Keizer, Ore. In 1942 she married Roy Henry Smith at Hood River, Ore., and to this union were blessed three boys: Bill, Merideth "Mert" and Stephen.
Charlotte worked for Diamond Fruit in the packing house for many years. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and dolls. She was a member of the Parkdale Community Baptist Church and the Parkdale doll club.
Charlotte is survived and will be dearly missed by her sons, Mert and his wife, Tanya Smith, of Umatilla, Ore., and Bill and his wife, Lorraine, of Hermiston, Ore.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Stephen Atteburry; granddaughter, Debbie, and grandson, Dalton.
