MR. CRAVEN DEAD, 1915.
R. T. CRAVEN died at his home near New Bethel September 23, 1915. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs.Charles Gasthon (Rose), of Louisville, and seven sons, Cosmas, Lancaster, Benedict and Paul Craven, all of Louisville, Will Craven, of Arkansas, Francis Craven, of Kirk, and Blacie Craven, who resides with his parents. Mr. Craven was a good neighbor and well liked by all who knew him. The body was laid to rest in St. Romuald Cemetery at Hardinsburg, September 25.
DEATH OF R. T. CRAVEN, Hardinsburg, 1915.
On the evening of September the 23rd, shortly after the hour of seven o'clock, there departed this life, at Hardinsburg, Ky, the soul of R. T. Craven. Mr. Craven lived a good age and died a good, true, Christian death. He was very much loved throughout the community. He leaves a wife and eight children, all of whom are grown. He was a loving and kind father and a friend to all. Besides his wife and children, he leaves many friends and relatives to mourn his loss. A High Mass of Requiem was sung for his repose. His funeral was held at St. Romuald's Church, on Saturday morning, September the 25th, at ten o'clock. His pastor, Rev. J. F. Norman, conducted the services. A large congregation was present and followed his remains to St. Romuald's Cemetery, where he was laid to rest. May he rest in peace, Amen.
