Clayton, loving known as Mike, is the son of Edith (LaFlamme) Rollins and Irvine Rollins. He was a graduate of Nashua High school, class of 1943 and later attended North Dakota State college. A decorated veteran of World War II, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for outstanding service while serving with the 42nd (Rainbow) Division in Europe. Following his discharge from the service in 1946, he worked for the Nashua Corp. where he was a pressman. He was also a member of the Pressman's Union and the James E. Coffey Post 3 American Legion in Nashua, NH.
Mike was married to Ruth L. Smith; he has one daughter, Linda Lou Rollins; two sons, Michael Kenneth and David John Rollins; four brothers, Irvine jr., Kenneth Rollins, Warren E. Rollins and Gerald M. Rollins, three sisters, Ola Pinette, Thelma Gosselin and Naomi Lyons.
