Bobby Morris was the "coolest" and best looking guy in our advanced program class. He attended Junior High at Pleasure Ridge Park and even though we changed classes, the advanced program students always were in the same classes.
Something was bothering him that day and he kept telling us that he was going to go home and kill himself. We begged him to stop thinking that and not to do it.
He lived in the school's district, but the rest of us didn't. We would have to wait there for the elementary advanced students to come and get on our bus before we went home. A guy down the street from me, Greg, and I worried all the way home and when he got off the bus, he said he would call him immediately. He called and Bobby's little brother answered and said he was outside or something and Greg asked him to go find him. He found him dead in their driveway.
I've never gotten over it.
