"Val Fabian Husley, aged 22 years and 26 days, a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi, died at his home, 615 Reynoir street, yesterday afternoon after an illness lasting for the past ten days. Deceased was one of the best known young men of the community and he had a large following of friends besides his numerous relatives, who will regret to learn of his death. For a number of years he was an employee of the Biloxi News Company where he became very popular with the customers of that concern. He later was employed by the Gulfport & Mississippi Traction Company as a motorman upon their local cars. He is survived by a wife, mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Husley, a brother, Jacob, and a sister, Mrs. Warren Arguelles, besides his other relatives. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 2:30 from the residence on Reynoir street. Services will be conducted under the auspices of the Catholic church."
