Billet, Marie A. (nee Welschmeyer), fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Mon., Jan. 4, 2010 at the age of 84. In addition to her parents, Anne & Gerhard, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard H., and sons, David Lee and Robert Joe, and siblings, Tony, Dillie, Sister Girarda SSND, Frank, Frances, John, Genevieve, James, Bertha and Rita. She is survived by her children, Leonard F. (Judy) Billet, Jane (the late Michael) Nenninger and Tina (Tom) Heischmidt; she is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Lisa (Jude) Reed, Dave and Jackie Billet, Brittany and Beau Billet, Katy Nenninger, Rachel (Brian) Grote, Andrew Nenninger and Elizabeth (Ben) Hicks, Joey, Stephen and Cody Billet and Thomas and Heidi Heischmidt; and her sister Safey Hausotter and her brother Martin (Angie) Welschmeyer plus 8 greatgrandchildren, over 60 devoted nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She was well known for her laughter, her strength and her unconditional love. Her passing will leave a hole in the hearts of all who knew her. Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Thurs., Jan. 7, 9:30 a.m. to St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Jefferson Barracks Cemetery. If desired, contributions in her memory may be made to Nazareth Living Center. Visitation Wed. 4-9 p.m.
