Our beloved father and grandfather departed this life on January 9, 2009. He is preceded in death by parents Abel and Viviana; brothers, Sisto, Mike and Leandro Canales. He is survived by children, Dyon Canales, Terry Galindo, Jesse, Miguel, Angel Canales, Yolanda Ferguson and Jenny Canales; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also, brothers Higinio, Ernest, David Canales and sister Hortense Solano. Visitation will be held at Mission Funeral Home on E. Cesar Chavez St. on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Funeral discourse is to be held by David Canales, Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. as well. Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery, Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Erick and Ezra Solano, Adam Dominguez, Ricardo Colin, Juan Constancio and Ruben Aleman. Isaiah 41:13 For I, Jehova your God, am grasping your right hand, the One saying to you, 'Do not be afraid. I myself will help you.'
