The couple farmed in the Town of Schleswig until their retirement 10 years ago. In October 1958, they observed their golden wedding anniversary. Mrs. Reichwaldt was a life member of Bethlehem Church where she was baptized and confirmed and was also a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Edgar Wagner of Route 1, Kiel; a granddaughter; two great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Esther Buvid of Two Rivers; four brothers, Otto and Edwin of the Town of Schleswig, Oscar of Kiel and Walter of Sheboygan, and a niece, Mrs. Henry Dexheimer of Route 1, Elkhart Lake, who was raised by the couple.
