LOGAN- Betty A. Scott, 89, of Logan, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan.

She was born December 3, 1920, in Lancaster, Ohio, daughter of the late Howard and Anne (Shonting) Hooker.

Betty was the widow of the late Cecil Scott, who passed away in December of 2000. She retired from Carborundum and loved playing Bingo.

Betty is survived by a daughter, Terry (Marty) Adcock of Casa Grande, Arizona; grandchildren, Jason Adcock of Gilbert, Arizona and Janel Adcock of Mesa, Arizona; great-grandchildren, Aryelle Dittert of Mesa, Arizona and Matthew Adock and Marlee Adcock of Gilbert, Arizona; and two sisters, Norma Patterson and Virginia Fagan both of Lancaster..

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Larry.

Graveside services are at 1 p.m., Sunday, January 10, 2010, in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, with the REv. Roger Fidler officiating.

Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 East Second Street, Logan, on Sunday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
