Terry Wayne Allen, 43, of Nashville, formerly of Marshall County, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, following a lengthy illness.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nathaniel Allen Jr.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Roberta Lumpkin Allen and Paul Lewis, and children, Terry, Caleb and Ariannah, all of Nashville; sisters, Mattie (Dewayne) Allen and Scarlett Allen, of Nashville, and Carletha (Will) Battle of Hendersonville; brothers, Willie Allen and Marticqus McCord, also of Nashville; uncles, John R. (Dusty) Allen and James Thomas Allen, both of Lewisburg; aunts, Mary Tears, Sadie Mae (William) Dukes, Mamie Harris, Olene (John) Edmondson, and Ella F. Allen, all of Lewisburg; special friend, Mike Gee of Nashville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Greater First Baptist Church, Lewisburg, with Rev. William H. Johnson officiating, followed by burial in Ezell Cemetery, Cornersville.

The pallbearers were James T. Allen, Mike Gee, Damien Rucker, Mack Rucker, Ricky Tears, and Roderick Tears.

Anderson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
