Joseph Dransfield was the husband of Adaline Widdoes Dransfield--he was the son of James Dransfield and Rachel Carpenter Dransfield--the last name Dransfield was spelled with a "G"as in Gransfield in some records--- earlier records such as marriage and census records had the name spelled Gransfield and some had Dransfield--around 1895 or so the spelling in the name was only "Dransfield"he and his wife are buried in the Greenwood K of P cemetery in Philadelphia,Pa.Joseph is buried with his wife Adaline Widdoes Dransfield(it is not known if they had children) and a Louisa Dransfield who may be Joseph Dransfield's second wife.--still researching about a second wife.
