Mrs. Lee H. (Ruby) Turner of Rt. 1, Powderly, died at 3 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Leverett and Steele Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Turner was born Aug. 5, 1911, in Powderly, the daughter of the late W. N. Swindle and Maudie (Trayler) Swindle. She was married to Lee H. Turner on Dec. 22,1929, in Grant, Okla. She was a retired employe of North Lamar Independent School District and a member of Bounds Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of Powderly; two daughters, Mrs. Pete (Ruby) Ochoa of Paris and Mrs. Bobby (Patricia) Maddox of Paris; one brother, Dewey Swindle of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. Audie Belle Nance of Powderly; and six grandchildren, Mrs. Wayne (Virginia Lee) Jefferson of Nederland and Lvdia Ochoa, Anita Ochoa, James Philip Ochoa and Leslie and Lindsay Maddox, all of Paris.
