Funeral services for Horace J. McKim, 57, of North Salem, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at North Salem Community Church of which he was a member. Reverend Irvil Baker will officiate and burial will be made in the North Salem Cemetery.
Mr. McKim suffered a heart attack at his home about noon Tuesday and was pronounced dead on arrival at Guernsey Memorial Hospital. He was employed with the Farris Redwood Company.
He was born November 8, 1902 to Elza Clark and Pearl Cosgrave McKim and was married to Mary Miller, who survives.
In addition to his widow, Mr. McKim leaves two daughters, Miss Pearl McKim of Wooster and Mrs. Shirley Winland of North Salem; four sons Ray Clark, William Earl, Paul Eugene and James Richard all of the home; four sisters Mrs. Maude McConkey of Cambridge, Mrs. Nellie Penter of Philadelphia, Pa., Mrs. Kathryn Whiting of North Salem and Mrs. Olive Kimble of Kimbolton; one brother Raymond McKim of California and three children. One sister is deceased.
The body will be taken to the church from Bundy Funeral Home to lie in state one hour. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
