Mrs. Mary Lavon WHISLER, 73, Fulton, died unexpectedly at 10 a.m. Sunday in Woodlawn hospital. Born Oct. 5, 1897, in Miami county, she was the daughter of Delbert and Hanna EWER GUYER. Her marriage was March 1, 1916, in Mexico, to Albert F. WHISLER. He died Jan. 18, 1963. She was a lifetime resident of the Twelve Mile and Fulton areas and a member of the Mud Lake Church of Christ. Surviving are two sons, Willis [WHISLER], Syracuse, and Marvin [WHISLER], of Logansport; one brother, Merritt GUYER, Marion; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Two brothers and one great-grandchild preceded in death. Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Ditmire-Zimmerman funeral home. The Rev. Don E. WINTERS will officiate. Burial will be in the Mud Lake Chapel cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
