Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Achenbach, route 2, of Tipton, will be held Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Sandbank Christian church with the Rev. Russel Sieferd of Muncie, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview cemetery of Tipton. Mrs. Achenbach died at 1:45 Friday afternoon, after an illness of two months. She passed away at her home with all of her family present. Mrs. Achenbach was born Jan. 12, 1892, to William and Ida Hoover, who reside east of Tipton. She was married March 22, 1913, to Haley Achenbach. Mrs. Achenbach was a member of the Tipton Home Economics club and of the Plum Grove club. She joined the Sandbank Christian church in 1903. Survivors are her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Hoover; four children; Kenneth, Paul and Jack Achenbach, and Mrs. Wanda Mae Lemen; two grandchildren and one brother, Russell Hoover; and one sister, Mrs. Floyd Woodruff, of Indianapolis.
