IMOGENE RILEY 75 of Springfield went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday morning, June 28, 2000. As she drew her last breath, Imogene was holding the hands of her daughter Donna and best friend Dean. She was born January 26, 1925 in Springfield, the daughter of Ellis and Eleanor (Turner) Jones. Imogene was an active member of the St. Mark United Methodist Church, the Springfield Area Emmaus Community, and the ''After 5'' Christian Women's Club. She retired from the Springfield City Schools after 15 years as an office worker at South High School. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Ron Taulton of Enon; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Lou Davis of Springfield, and Phyllis and Howard Crumrine of Huntsville, Alabama; two grandchildren, Chris and his wife, Michele Taulton and Nicole Taulton; very special friend, Dean Jones of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday from 5-8:pm in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, SPRINGFIELD. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, July 1, 2000 at 10:30am in the St. Mark United Methodist Church, 2043 Memorial Dr., Springfield with Pastor Dr. Linda Chamberlain Jones of St. Mark United Methodist Church and Pastor Chris Farmer of the Enon United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Glen Haven Memorial Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice, 1343 Fountain Blvd. Springfield, 45504 or the St. Mark United Methodist Church.
