Mr. Gerald Martin Krutke, 72, died early Saturday morning (January 9, 2010) at Hospice of Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA following an extended illness.
He was a native of Mayville, WI but had been making his home in Waycross the past three years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank A. Krutke and Teresa Rose Planish Krutke; a grandson, Jared Dean Krutke; a sister, Carol Sill; and a brother, Raymond.
He was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church and the National Rifle Association. He served in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Krutke of Waycross; two sons, Gary Krutke of Prescott, WI, Greg Krutke of Waycross; two daughters, Peggy Krutke Hass of Sheboygan, WI, Karen Krutke Reseburg of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Loretta Lemons of Carson City, NV, Margaret Anderson of Beaver Dam, WI; three brothers, Dale Krutke of Necedah, WI, Leonard Krutke of Mayville, WI, Jimmy Krutke of Necedah, WI; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (January 13, 2010) at Music Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday (January 14, 2010) at Jacksonville National Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 1 until 2.
