Funeral Services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Myhton Ward Chapel for Willard A. (Pete) Smith, 74, who died March 5, 15, his home of a stroke.
He was born Jan. 18, 1898 in Bear, Ida. to Clarence Eugene and Ada Rebecca Warner Smith. He married Virginia Chidester, March 7, 1927 in Duchesne. He was a member of the LDS Church and was a carpenter and a member of the carpenters union.
Survivors include his widow, a son and daughters, Bert Smith, Mrs. Ray (Darlene) Perry, both Granger; Mrs. Betty Harrison, Salt Lake City; Mrs. E. Fay (Genele) Rippon, Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother, Clarence E. Smith, Murray; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Myton cemetery.
