McKillen, Patrick Allen
Born June 27, 1950 in Sandwich, IL, was adopted by Kathryn (nee Roche) and Garfield McKillen of Dexter, MI, in 1953. Pat was raised in Dexter and was known and loved by many. He retired as a Street Supervisor of Dexter Public Works and was the owner/operator of McKillen Tents. He was a member of the Luzerne Michigan American Legion, Ann Arbor Elks, Ann Arbor Moose, and a 30 year Secretary of the Ann Arbor Eagles. He is survived by wife Mary (nee Stephen) McKillen and children, Patrick McKillen Jr., Richard Gilbertson II, Eric Gilbertson, Lisa Marie (Brian) Childress, and Rebecca Ann (Rob) Davisson. Also surviving are grandchildren: Kayla, Kaeshena, Ashley, Tony, Jack, Billy, Matthew, and Thomas. He will be greatly missed by his brothers Michael (Sonie) McKillen, Jeffrey McKillen, and sisters Polly (Thomas) Minick, and Laurie (William) Simpson and his biological siblings; Bill, Howie, Mary, Bonnie, John, Bernie, Patricia, and Larry. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, January 11th at Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel in Dexter from 2-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Village Catholic Church at 3430 Dover Street in Dexter on Tuesday, January 12th at 11 a.m., with visitation prior from 10-11 a.m. Donations can be made to the Ann Arbor Eagles for Patrick's charities.
