Mr. David Lemley departed this life Tuesday, August 6, 1895, of paralysis, aged about 70 years. Deceased was a respected well-to-do citizen and had been a life long member of the M. E. church. He had his first stroke of paralysis a little over two years ago, but recovered sufficiently to go about and attend to his business, but on Thursday of last week he fell and was carried to the house unconscious, in which condition he remained until his death. He leaves besides an aged wife three sons, John Samuel and Endsley, and four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Bowers, of Bedford, Iowa, Mrs. Catharine Headlee, of Whiteley, Pa., Mrs. Sarah Fox, of Kirby, and Mrs. Ruie John, of Waynesburg. The interment took place Thursday in the Connor graveyard.
