Mrs. Aletha Barwick Bowman, 73 native of Meigs (Music Funeral Home, Waycross)

Mrs. Aletha Barwick Bowman,73, died Monday morning at St. Vincent Medical Center in Jacksonville,Fla. after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Meigs but had resided in Ware County most of her life.

She was the daughter of the late Reddin Jessie Barwick and Mary Jane Watson Barwick. She was retired with Satilla Care Center as a nurses aide. She was a member of First Christian Church.

She is survived by four sons, Stephen Bowman wife Jean of Millwood, Stanley Bowman wife Barbara, Jimmy Bowman both of Waycross, Bill Bowman wife Tammy of Offerman; a daughter in law, Debra Bowman of Waycross; two sisters Edna Bradley of Lakeland,Fla., Laura Smith of Tampa,Fla.; grandchildren, Kyle, Zach, Mary, Stanley Jr., and Ashley.

A services is planned for 11:00 am Thursday (3801) in the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held in Kettle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive from 7 until 9 o clock Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
