Robert Lee Camac, 87, died Monday, January 11, 2010 (8:30 p.m.) in Moweaqua Nursing & Retirement Center.
Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 15, 2010 at First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua with Pastor Sharon Treptow officiating.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.
Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery with Full Military Honors by American Legion Post #370.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Music Department or the American Heart Association.
Bob was born on December 9, 1922 in Assumption, Illinois to William J. and Sylvia Florence (Tolly) Camac.
He married Margadean Waddell on February 17, 1946 in Moweaqua. She preceded him in death on April 22, 2005.
Bob was a graduate of Moweaqua High School. He was employed for 33 years at AE Staley's as a Process Operator. Bob was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua and United Methodist Men.
He proudly served his country during World War II in the Army.
Surviving are his sons David (Dot) Camac of Durand, IL, Gary (Mary) Camac of Auburn, IL, James (Carol) Camac of Killen, TX; daughters Carol Beck of Moweaqua and Lori Camac of Bennington, OK; grandchildren Carrie Highland, Keily Schrey, Aaron Camac, Keith Becker, Gale Becker, Kayla Camac and Robert Camac; great-grandchildren Casidy Schrey, Alexis and Zachary Highland, Michael and Caelan Becker; brother Kenneth (Joyce) Camac of Moweaqua and sister Doris Brooks of Moweaqua.
He is preceded by wife, parents, and two sisters.
