FULTON.—In this city, Tuesday evening, February 4th, 1879, Mrs. Ellen N. Fulton, wife of Mr. C. D. Fulton.

The funeral services were held at the residence at 11 o’clock yesterday morning, by Rev. S. Phelps, and attended by a large number of sincerely sympathizing friends. From the remarks of the officiating clergyman, we gather the following brief biography:

The deceased lady was born in Oswego, N.Y., March 15th, 1838. On the 12th of Nov., 1861, she married Mr. C. D. Fulton at Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The family remaining consist of Mr. Fulton and two little girls. Previous to coming here, where they settled some six years ago, they lost two boys by death. For some years Mrs. Fulton was in poor health much of the time, so that her acquaintance was not so large as it would otherwise have been, but to all who came in contact with her she speedily endeared herself by her many womanly qualities.

She was buried in Evergreen cemetery.
