HAVEN - Fred Cavenee, 90, died Dec. 25, 1985, at Hutchinson Hospital. Born May 28, 1895, at Lyons, he was an oil field contractor and had been a resident of Haven since 1969.
He was a member of the Wade Patton Post American Legion, and was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors: brother, Jim, Great Bend; sisters, Kelsey Rose, Longmont, Colo., Donna Flock, Peoria Heights, Ill., and Virginia Lohkamp, Monett, Mo.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Cantwell-VanCampen Chapel, Haven, the Rev. Robert Shelton. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Lyons Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
